I have noticed a disturbing trend of late; it is the trend of giving money to so-called ministries/churches that do not provide services to their members like counseling; Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom and at least some services in the area of Deliverance.
I have been seeing people use the services of True Prophets of God but not give money to The Lord’s True Prophets. I have seen people call The Lord’s Prophets and receive Prophetic Messages from The Lord through them that solve serious problems and still these people don’t give money to The Lord’s Anointed; but these same people take their money to pastors they can’t get a Prophetic Word from on the basis of impressing their pastors’. One such person did this just to impress their pastor because he said he was going to ordain her; she has been trying to get an ordination certificate from this pastor for many years now but, and you know where I’m going with this: of course to this day she has not gotten the ordination certificate.
My point: if a person calls a friend who is a Prophet/Prophetess and gets a Word from The Lord concerning serious matters, if or when that person gets a chance they should give into the life of someone that The Lord is using to help them.
People need to sow their money into The Lord’s System of Provision for themselves and His Prophet’s, this is where their money will grow. The Lord’s money wasn’t designed for impressing the people that lead churches. Tithes and offerings started for the purpose of helping The Lord’s Anointed Priest-[intercessors for God’s people] and Prophets-[correctors for God’s people], The Lord’s system of Tithing and giving Offerings was set up to provide for The Lord’s Anointed not impress people. In return the people received spiritual intersession and spiritual guidance from the Priest/Prophets.
Some people think they can do with out the spiritual part, I will only say: THAT ISN’T A GOOD THING TO DO!
2 Chronicles 20:20c NLT Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be able to stand firm. Believe in his prophets, and you will succeed.”
Matthew 10:41 NLT 41 If you receive a prophet as one who speaks for God, you will be given the same reward as a prophet. And if you receive righteous people because of their righteousness, you will be given a reward like theirs.
Matthew 6:2-4 NLT 2 When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. 3 But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. 4 Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
